Company Support Assistant
R S Skips Ltd is an established skip hire & waste management company based in Shorne, Kent. The business is in a rural location so transportation will need to be looked into before applying for the job. There is the possibility of collection and drop off arrangement at Gravesend/Higham train station to assist with travel.
Description of Vacancy
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic person who loves organising and enjoys all aspects of administration in a busy office to join our friendly team. You need to be able to work under pressure, in busy fast paced conditions. The successful candidate must be able to multi task without blinking!
Duties will include:
Allocating jobs to drivers
Liaising with drivers
Applying for skip road licences
Filing and ensuring the office is kept tidy at all times.
Training would be provided for certain aspects of the roles
Starting salary minimum apprenticeship wage £3.70 per hour with the opportunity of this to be reviewed and increased dependent upon progression
Excellent customer service
Able to work independently
Work in a team
Ability to use own initiative
Call potential customers
Ability to build excellent working relationship with customers
Ensuring existing customers are kept happy.
Good communication skills
Maths and English Grade D or equivalent
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
