Position: BSE Apprentice
Location: Leeds
Salary: GBPCompetitive. NG Bailey pay rates exceed the Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage.

The Role:

We have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic people to join our experienced Engineering Team in Leeds, where you can learn from the industry's best.
We work on everything from large office buildings to nuclear power stations; hospitals to universities; factories to the rail network. No two projects are ever the same.
Our apprenticeship programme will ensure you develop the highest standard of knowledge, skills, behaviours and experience in the industry.
As site based apprentice you will:
- Train at one of the top performing colleges or training providers in the country as you work towards your Advanced Apprenticeship
- Learn about Safety First and Foremost, our award winning approach to working safely
- Be working indoors and outdoors
- Be prepared for early starts and the possibility of travel away from home
- Develop great working relationships with some of the industry's most talented people
-Have a strong support network with the right levels of supervision giving you the chance to build your confidence and use your initiative
You will learn to:
- Work across different departments within our Engineering division such as estimating, planning, design, commercial and contracting to get a clear understanding of the business
- Work closely with and build working relationships a range of engineers in the business
- Work with project teams before projects go live to review the work required and ensure we are meeting the client's requirements
- Work with other project team members to identify potential risks and opportunities in the project and possible solutions
- Provide information for progress reports and meetings
- Build positive relationships with the client and main contractor
- Work with your team to control financial objectives and meet project delivery timescales
- As you gain experience manage small sections of a project and take responsibility for meeting all targets and deadlines

Your 4-year Apprenticeship will include:
- Level 4 Building Services Engineering Technician apprenticeship.
- Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English if required
- Employee Rights and Responsibilities
- End point assessment
In addition, you will regularly attend in house training and development as part of the programme.
To apply, you need:
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths, English and Science + 2 other subjects at C/4 or above
- Grade C or above in A Levels (or equivalent; A BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma, Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship) in English Language, Maths and a science-based subject
