Vacancy Description
An Apprentice Sales & Service Support Assistant is required to join our busy team.
You will be required to handle a wide range of administration functions, including quote preparation, customer liaison, call handling and assisting with logistics to ensure our field engineers can continue to support our customers and invoicing.
As part of a dynamic team the work will vary according to the business need at the time. Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
– Supporting sales staff with quotations
– Liaising with our service desk for technical sales enquiries.
-Logging customer calls
– Scheduling engineers
– Arranging the despatch of parts.
Wage
£187.50 per week
Hours
37.5 paid working hours per week:
8.30 – 5 Mon -Fri
1 hour lunch break per day (unpaid)
Skills Required
Enthusiasm, Empathy, good communications (written & oral).
Numeracy
Computer Literate
Basic Chemistry / Science is desirable

Qualifications Required
GCSE A-C in Maths, English, IT (Chemistry/Science would be advantageous)
Training Provided
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
