The main roles and responsibilities of the Accounts Trainee apprentice are but not limited to:

Bookkeeping / VAT / Management Accounts Services

• Clients bookkeeping including visits to external premises

• Set up of new bookkeeping systems for clients

• VAT returns completion and submission

• Contributions to / preparation of Management Accounts

• Dealing with client emails and queries Other Office Tasks

• Ensuring all work on invoice basis is highlighted for billing with Directors

• Liaising with clients and chasing for books and records to ensure deadlines are met

• VAT Checklist updated on a monthly basis

• Responding to clients in a polite and professional manner and replying to emails within 24 hours

• Reception based functions including answering phone and greeting clients

• Filing, shredding and general office administration
