Job Summary
Due to expansion, a fantastic and exciting opportunity has recently been made available for a customer service apprentice to join Yellow Car Shop, a highly successful car and van leasing company based in Newport Pagnell.
Job Summary:
You will be the first point of contact for all customers and visitors on site. You must be polite, well presented and a good communicator with a cheerful disposition.
As our Customer Service apprentice you will:
- Greet and welcome customers as soon as they arrive on site
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensuring the showroom is kept clean and tidy throughout the day
- Taking care of customers and visitors once they have arrived, serving tea and coffee
- Taking messages for Management/Sales & Service Team
- Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Carrying out general admin and other tasks as and when required

The Yellow Car Shop are based in the heart of Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes. The big difference between us and other leasing companies is that you can come in to our shop, sit down, have a cup of tea and have a chat.
We can look at all makes and models of cars and vans to see what the best deal is for you. This will save you time trawling the dealers for the right vehicle and the best deal. We guarantee to be cheaper than the deals found in the main dealerships.
For business customers we also have a dedicated fleet and business specialist that’s been in the industry for almost 20 years.

- Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, One Saturday a month working 10am-5pm (1 Hour Lunch)
- Total hours per week: 35.00
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

- Computer literacy using Microsoft office

Desired qualifications
- It is desired that the successful candidate will hold GCSE grades A-C/9-4 or equivalent in English and maths
- However, if these grades are not achieved we will provide Functional Skills training and support in these subjects.
