Vacancy description

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Update CRM with customer activity
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Preparation of samples to be sent to customers
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Handle requests and queries from senior managers

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work

Personal qualities

  • Attention to detail 
  • Problem solving skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Desired qualifications

  • Must have GCSE (or equivalent) grade A*-C/9-4 in English and maths.

Future prospects

  • Full time position given upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Training to be provided

  • Level 2 NVQ in Business and Administration
  • Level 2 Technical Certificate
  • Level 1 Functional Skills in English and maths (where necessary)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
  • In house training from the employer
