Initially starting in the role of Sales and Marketing Coordinator, with a defined progression path based on results to Sales and Marketing Manager, the individual will be sponsored by the Company, to train to achieve a Level 4 Diploma in Digital Marketing. The employer is an award winning Ski Operator, looking to grow its team for the future.

The starting salary for the apprenticeship will depend on the candidate in terms of their starting point - previous education and experience. At a starter level this would be £10,000 per annum in the first year and up to £16,000 for a candidate with previous experience to support a fast-track to the role of Sales and Marketing Manager.

At the end of the two year apprenticeship, the employee with have gained a Level 4 Diploma in Digital Marketing (foundation degree) - for a candidate with relevant experience or previous qualifications, this could be fast-tracked and completed in one year.

The employee will be entitled to the standard employment conditions which include 28 days paid holiday, membership of the Company's pension plan for qualifying staff and participation in any team bonus or incentive schemes the Company may operate from time to time (including an end of season fully paid educational ski-trip each year to France). The employment terms and conditions will follow the normal contracts issued by the Company and, in the case of an existing employee, length of service rights would be maintained.

The Company will pay all fees in relation to the approved study program, which are not covered by the government grants such that the employee will not be expected to make any contribution to the cost of the course. The Company will also pay the cost of any required study materials and for the costs of travel to the workshops or tutorials which are required as part of the course.

After successful completion of each level of the approved course, the employee will be guaranteed a salary increase of at least £1,000 per annum. Each phase will normally be one year of study - however, if the employee is able to accelerate the training and completes a course phase in a shorter period which is acceptable to the training organisation, the salary increase will be awarded on completion of the phase and gaining of the relevant diploma, not necessarily the calendar year. Increases will only be made where the phase/year has been passed to a satisfactory standard and the associated job related objectives have been reached.

Additional bonuses may be granted at the Directors' discretion on the completion of each year, according to the business performance, the performance and personal contribution of the individual to the business as well as the academic results achieved from the study and achievement of objectives.

The apprenticeship will be continually reviewed and monitored both externally by the Training Organisation and internally by the Directors to ensure that objectives are being met and any difficulties or issues are dealt with promptly and properly so as not to hinder progress.

Upon qualification at the end of the apprenticeship, a complete review will be undertaken to assess the individual's capability to function fully in the role of Sales and Marketing Manager. Further training requirements or areas requiring more development may be identified at that time or if the standards required have been achieved, then the appointment to Sales and Marketing Manager will be made along with the commensurate salary and management employment conditions.
