Zeek Design LTD is looking for a Web Designer to work with our growing number of clients on a variety of website projects. You will work alongside the team to finish Wordpress / HTML / CSS projects and deliver those to clients.

The job is a full time position based in our studio based in Newton Aycliffe. We have a growing team with a creative mindset and quirky office. We generally work from 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Essential Experience
  • Wordpress
  • HTML5, CSS3
  • WooCommerce - Back / Front end
  • Working with Wordpress premium themes & plugins
  • Coding for responsive design
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator)

Beneficial Skills
  • SEO knowledge
  • Google Analytics knowledge
  • Awareness of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues
  • Understanding of hosting and purchasing domain names
  • Testing sites/features and applications in different browsers and environments
  • Managing redirects and broken links
  • Working with Wordpress page builders
  • Experience with mailchimp
  • Javascript
  • jQuery
