Main Duties:
  • To support users including staff, volunteers, family members and external professionals in the use of the Acorns care information systems and portal including routine administration.
  • Assist in the development, testing and implementation of new developments, features and processes to maximise the benefits of the care information systems.
  • Assist with data quality cleansing and checking using analysis through a range of tools.
  • Use a range of analytical techniques and modelling to identify and predict trends and patterns in data.
  • Work across a variety of care projects providing technical data solutions.
  • Apply the organisations data and information security standards, policies and procedures to data management and administrative activities.
  • Assist in the production of performance dashboards and reports.
  • To work flexibly, within the Care Data Team, in order to maintain the integrity of data across the organisation and ensure all aspects of Information Governance are met and adhered to.
  • Develop and maintain system user guides and support the delivery of training to users of the system. This will include travel across the region and include some planned flexible working outside of normal office hours.
  • Manage care system helpdesk issues liaising effectively with staff, developers, families and external professionals.
  • Manage equipment inventory for users of care information systems in collaboration with the IT department.
  • Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Desired qualifications

Successful candidates will have at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including maths, English and either IT or Science.

Ideally, you will have either a minimum of two A levels (or equivalent) a Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification or Level 3 BTEC.
