Site Facilities Trainee Scheme
On our Site and Facilities Trainee Scheme for BAE Systems Submarines, you’ll support the team contracted to work on some of the biggest and most ambitious engineering projects in the world.
What does the traineeship include?
The Site and Facilities Trainee Scheme is designed to develop A-level (or equivalent) qualified people to become skilled and experienced professionals in one of the following specialisms: Major Projects, Facilities Engineering, Estates & Services or Nuclear Facilities.
The scheme is designed to provide you with a broad knowledge of Site and Facilities and why it's such an important area to running the Barrow Submarines site. Trainees will complete 6 month placements within Site and Facilities, with a potential opportunity for placements elsewhere in the business. The Site and Facilities scheme provides trainees with the chance to work on real, live projects in an exciting manufacturing environment.
You'll be joining Submarines — the part of BAE Systems that has been tasked with turning Britain's future defence ambitions into reality. We're the people who are building the next generation of submarines for the Royal Navy.
