Ferrabyrne Ltd is looking for an Engineering apprentice to join the team of this busy company which designs and manufactures suspension and anti-vibration systems for rail and road vehicles, wind turbines and industrial machinery.
Our products are to be found in demanding applications throughout the world, particularly in rail vehicles. Although there is a wide range of application for our technology, the common features are designing bespoke solutions for articulation and vibration isolation incorporating rubber to metal elements. Our reputation is built not only on 40 years’ experience, but also on our innovation and responsiveness. We are accredited to ISO9001 and the International Rail Industry Standard (IRIS).
The successful candidate will be enrolled with the University of Chichester on the Manufacturing Engineer Degree Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship programme is run from Bognor Regis and sees the apprentice employed full time by Ferrabyrne Ltd whilst studying part time during work hours with the University of Chichester. On successful completion you will be awarded your degree apprenticeship and a BEng (Hons) Mechanical and Materials Engineering degree. You will pay no tuition fees for this programme.
Applicants must meet the University of Chichester entry requirements of 3 A Levels grades A-C (including Maths), a BTEC Level 3 vocational qualification, an apprenticeship at level 3 or relevant work experience.
