Early Years Scotland has flourished and expanded in numbers in recent years and is now in need of a very enthusiastic and energetic person with great admin skills and experience who can make an immediate, positive impact in supporting all aspects of HR related work. Would you like to join our fantastic staff team at the Glasgow office and are you that special person we are looking for?

You certainly could be our much valued HR Assistant if you are:
  • enthusiastic, adaptable, self-motivating and outgoing
  • excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, electronic filing and e-mail
  • keen to tackle new challenges and grasp new opportunities
  • willing to learn, develop and improve your expertise, skills and knowledge
  • adept at multi-tasking with high standards and an eye for detail
An absolute necessity for this post is an excellent level of competence, confidence and accuracy in written and verbal communication. We will check out your ability through the quality and presentation of your application form and at interview, so please apply if you feel that communication is one of your strengths.

Post Details:
  • 21 hours per week (days/hours to be agreed)
  • GBP17,230 FTE per annum (Point 13 on the Scale 13-17) pro-rata
  • Based at Early Years Scotland Office, 23 Granville Street, Glasgow G3 7EE
  • Fixed Term for one year from start date in the first instance, subject to continuing funding
  • 20 days annual leave in the first year rising to 30 days thereafter pro-rata
  • 12 public holidays per annum
  • 5% employer pension contribution from 3 months' service
