About the Role
The role would be most suitable to analytical graduates with a background in Law, History or English and would prove advantageous for anyone looking for a future career in the legal profession.
The role would encompass a number of different tasks. A large part of the role would be to deal with court paperwork, in addition to composing responses to various legal and non-legal arguments. A successful applicant would also be required to brief external advocates, engage in mediation with motorists, and contact County Courts throughout England and Wales if required. This would necessitate a detailed understanding of the relevant laws and the ability to apply them correctly.
However your work would not be limited to this, a successful applicant would be expected to conduct their own research not just into the relevant legal issues but some of the core commercial issues they will encounter. ParkingEye is always looking for innovative new ideas, such as those that would remove unnecessary wastage and inefficiencies and this role would give you a great chance to realise these and put into place procedures to improve processes.
What we're looking for
We're looking for candidates with relationship skills, commercial understanding, drive, adaptability and the ability to analyse the business. A good grasp of computer processes and Microsoft Office programs is essential, and any experience of working in a professional office environment would be looked upon favourably. Some fundamental attributes of successful candidates would be diligence, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn and adapt to new information quickly.
A 2:1 degree or higher in a written subject would be advantageous
A strong academic record at GCSE and A Level.
Starting Salary: GBP16,500 - GBP18,000 per annum.
