Vacancy description

Essential Duties - To provide secretarial and administrative support to the team and contribute to the effective functioning of the Company.

  • Secretarial and administrative duties including – audio and copy typing correspondence, compiling bundles and other documentation as directed by the Manager/Managing Director and in accordance with the guidelines, policies and procedures detailed in the Office Manual
  • Dealing with clients on the telephone and in the office, as necessary, in a professional, confidential and efficient manner, with concise file notes
  • Preparing and completing appropriate documentation for the LSC, SRA, Law Society as required
  • Undertaking administrative duties relevant to the organisation and functioning of the department and client matters
  • Maintaining an efficient filing system
  • Maintaining an efficient archiving and file retrieval system
  • Providing secretarial cover within departments during holiday and sickness periods
  • Undertaking personal development within the criteria specified by the Company
  • Completing the Apprenticeship Scheme in accordance with the assessor’s guidance and timescales
  • To undertake all duties in line with professional standards and the Company’s policies and procedures
  • To undertake such other ad hoc duties as the Manager or Managing Director may from time to time reasonably require
