Diversity in Engineering & Tech - Equal Opportunity for One & All
EqualEngineers connects inclusive employers with diverse talent in engineering and technology. Organisations perform best when they have people from many different backgrounds, cultures and identities offering their creativity to solve problems and innovate together.
EqualEngineers run events throughout the year specifically aimed at increasing the number of female; ethnic minority; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender; and disabled engineers, as well as widening participation to people who may not readily discover exciting career pathways available.
The UCAS career finder platform aims to collate all apprenticeship & graduate opportunities, so the audience engaging with UCAS are presented with a full range of options for their future.
Increasing the relevant content and information and advice will give further insights and aid the decision-making process.
UCAS media and EqualEngineers are working together to bring diversity to the forefront of engineering. By filming the real-life experiences of engineers who have walked different paths to get to where they are at, we hope to inspire you to consider a career in engineering and have a true, holistic overview of all the ways you can start your career.
EqualEngineers works with over 70 leading engineering and tech organisations who regularly exhibit at their annual events series in October. Check out EqualEngineers.com/events for forthcoming events near you in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and London.
