Employer Description

We provide Security and Fire solutions to domestic, commercial and industrial clients throughout the Southeast. We are an independent family run business established in 2003.

We cover all aspects of electronic security, from Intruder Alarms, and Access control, to CCTV and Fire detection systems. We can design, install, and maintain a unique system to suit security needs. We also specialise in the maintenance of existing systems installed by other providers. We can cater for and service all security system requirements in one place, providing comprehensive protection for properties.

Travel Information

Please note that this post is within a rural location and will require the candidate to drive or have access to transport.

Description of Vacancy

General office and administration duties, to include working with the current team, assisting with booking of appointments, telephone call handling, ordering stock, delivery/stock control management.

Potential for the right candidate to develop their career and the opportunity to learn new skills within the business.

Wage

£5.50 per hour

Hours

Monday to Friday

9.00 am to 5:00 pm

1 Hour Lunch (Paid)

20% paid time during working hours is given to complete training, referred to as “Off the Job Training”

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike, from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

Regular work-based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
