PETA Ltd are proud to be working with a specialist builder and installer of UPS & diesel generator systems to recruit a Service Co-Ordinator Apprentice. This role is responsible for managing and scheduling maintenance visits, emergency call outs and ordering service parts. Professional communication, both verbally and in writing, with customers and suppliers is a critical element. There will be full training provided on technical terms and data.

There is the intention for a full-time role to be offered to the suitable and successful candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship. Powertecnique will look to retain the Apprentice with progression route including social media marketing, sales and project management.

Training to be provided

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15 month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

About the role

The Service Co-Ordinator Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

Book customer maintenance visits
Request service parts from suppliers and complete purchase orders and Good Delivery notes as required
Develop and maintain relationships with customers ensuring efficient and effective communication
Ensure that all equipment is ready for the engineers at the agreed date, time and location
Issue work orders to Customer Support Engineers and Sub Contractors
Close off Service Visit Reports
Deal with customer queries (both internal and external customers)
Assist and support the engineers
Manage diary requests
Liaise with the Service Sales Team, Projects, and Accounts Department
Follow procedures and processes
Provide support to the QHSE Manager in certain tasks and also Project Co-ordiantion and Stock awarenessBenefits

The ideal Service Co-Ordinator Apprentice will have the following skills and experience:

Computer literate and experience with MS Office
Organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Problem solving skills, resilience and tenacity with the ability to cope with customers and engineers
Team player
Positive attitude, enthusiastic and honest
Highly motivated and uses initiative
Co-operative and helpful at all times
Able to participate in a successful, committed and highly motivated team
Commitment to the full 15 month apprenticeship
GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade 4/C are requiredDesirable Skills
