Duration of Apprenticeship:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Accounts payable and receivable support including - processing of invoices in the finance system, dealing with queries from internal and external contacts, purchase order maintenance, supplier statement reconciliations.
- Accounts receivable support including – processing of invoices in the finance system, dealing with queries from internal and external contacts, debtor chasing.
- Management and financial reporting support including – support for preparation of monthly reporting, account reconciliations, management accounts and financial presentations.
- Other ad hoc activities as required – including tasks such as data entry, administrative support, filing and records management.
As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the full AAT Level 3 qualification.
The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
GCSE Maths and English at C or above
2x A levels or equivalent

The Finance team is small however there is potential progression into a permanent role as vacancies arise. The successful apprentice will be a preferred candidate for vacancies at the Officer grade (e.g. Accounts Payable Officer, Revenue Officer). Accounting and finance operations skills gained in this apprenticeship will provide a good base to begin a career in Accounting and Finance.
