Tops Day Nurseries & Aspire Training team provide early years education for children aged 0 - 11 and vocational training and apprenticeships for all ages. The marketing team is creative and passionate about ideas and creative concepts for our adverts through to our PR opportunities and we want someone to join the team who has a huge passion for everything creative too!

We are always getting involved in something, whether this is team lunches, events, having fun in the office, attending awards night, networking events, or taking part in bring our various content ideas to life! 

The Digital Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Manager of Tops & Aspire. 

Working week:

Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm.

30hrs a week.

Main role:

This role will provide you with a huge spectrum of experience in a variety of remits across the marketing industry. Inclusive of administration, online advertisement, social media, web development, public relations and more, with support from our awesome marketing team!

Desirable skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organisational, time management, and project management skills
  • Have fantastic attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure
  • Confident to present workshops and presentations
  • Strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong creativity and design skills in programmes such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Canva

Important requirement:

Any applicant is subject to a DBS check.

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
