What you could go on to do

Following a successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the core skills needed to be able to secure a role within project management roles and potentially Stockport Council should a relevant one become available. The knowledge of the organisation you would gain during your placement, in addition to the skills you will develop, will make you a strong candidate for future roles. The successful applicant will be able to access the Council's various 'work ready' training programmes.

How you will be supported

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role. Stockport Council will also provide you with an apprenticeship mentor to support the 'on the job' element of your placement as well as a work supervisor.

What will happen next

New applicants to The Growth Company who meet all the basic entry requirements, and can demonstrate an interest in the role, will be contacted within two working days to be invited to meet a member of our team. You will then have the opportunity to find out:
  • More about this vacancy and any others you are suitable for
  • Any training you need to complete
