What will the apprentice be doing?

Assist Site Manager with the initial site set-up. Learning the importance of project planning from the infancy of the project to completion at handover.

Support Site Manager check drawings and plans, quantities for accuracy and act as technical adviser for subcontractors.

Compile data and capture records to monitor the use of site resources.

Communicate with local authorities to ensure compliance with construction regulations and legislation.

Liaise with Senior Engineers, clients' engineers, contractors, subcontracts and statutory bodies to ensure the delivery of programme is within deadline and agreed budget.

Providing assistance to the Senior Engineers, liaising with clients and carrying out site investigations.

Check designs, drawings and data to ensure quality control and compliance procedures are adhered to.

Ensure health and safety practices are maintained to provide a safe working environment.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentices will receive all technical training required of the role. In addition apprentices will join our Graduate programme that will ensure they are given all the technical and personal development training to ensure they are fully competent. We also offer additional training to help you progress in the organisation.
