What will the apprentice be doing?
Working within our Civil Engineering Design team, you will be developing your skills and knowledge whilst working on high-profile engineering design projects for a diverse client base, gaining valuable work experience at the same time as earning a competitive salary.

You will be studying for a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering, attending university one day a week, as well as completing your End Point Assessment and achieving Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
In addition to this, at Waterman you will experience the following learning activities:
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Having achieved Incorporated Engineer status, you will have started your journey towards becoming a fully Chartered Civil Engineer with the ICE. There are excellent opportunities to develop your career with Waterman Group.

A Level or equivalent 3 A Levels to include maths and a physical science (Grade B (in maths) B, C or above) Essential
BTEC or equivalent L3 Extended Diploma - Engineering related (Grade DDM or above) Essential

- Working with an engineering team on the structural designs of new buildings
- Visiting sites periodically to understand the context of your design work
