What will the apprentice be doing?

You day to day role will be to support our site teams, who run our new home building developments. They are responsible for the houses being built safely, on time, on budget and to the highest quality. Our site management team prepare sites prior to the start of construction, plan their project build schedule, organise their specifications, budgets and general structure of the site.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

NHBC Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship Course - this apprenticeship will see you spending one day a week, studying for a formal qualification alongside your employment.

There are ten modules delivered virtually over 62 weeks.

At the end of this apprenticeship, you'll have an industry-recognised Level 4 qualification in Site Supervision and relevant CSCS card, ready to hit the ground running.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We will discuss with you how you want your career to develop and will provide the support you need. Intended progression after this course is to start your role as an Assistant Site Manager, enabling you to progress up the career ladder as far as Production Director with the right skills, attitude and abilities.

This is a site-based role, so you will need to be happy to work outdoors in all weathers. You will need to be good with your hands, good working within a team, and passionate about the industry. You will be based in the East & West Midlands, and will require your own transport to travel to your site and occasionally our offices in Chasetown, Staffs
