What will the apprentice be doing?

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has great communication skills and above all is willing to learn. The successful candidate will be a good team player who takes pride in their work and wants to develop a construction career through our experienced team.The apprenticeship will be delivered by our provider Learning Skills Partnership via blended learning, combining on line lectures and regular face to face visits.

Working from our purpose built, state of the art office in Bradford on Avon, we have unrivalled facilities including on-site parking, gym and changing facilities, and only a short walk into the centre of town.

Duties will include:
  • Supporting the construction team in various departments
  • General construction coordination
  • Surveying
  • Buying
  • Assisting with Sub-contract tender enquiries and variations
  • Assisting with updating data bases
  • Assisting with reports
  • Attending meetings with the site team and contractors

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Quantity Surveying Technician Level 4.

On this apprenticeship you will be following theQuantity Surveying Technician Level 4Standard, which will take up to 27 months to complete. The apprenticeship will be delivered by our provider Learning Skills Partnership via blended learning, combining on line lectures and regular face to face visits. During your apprenticeship, as well as learning and developing your academic knowledge, you will also gain knowledge and experience in rail civil engineering.
