To assist and support the Partners and Surveyors in a busy and vibrant professional office environment covering a varied broad range of professional work learning all the basics and developing knowledge and skills whilst shadowing chartered surveyors in their daily workload.
Applicants need to be self-assured, have good communication skills, attention to detail along with a sound agricultural knowledge and interest in the Countryside. IT skills are essential along with a willingness to embrace new processes and systems.In time, apprenticesmust have their own car.

Future prospects
Prospects are excellent for the right person. This is a 5-year Degree Apprenticeship that on successful completion will that the apprenticecould bea qualified Chartered Surveyor. The organisation will support you through training development and the APC with supervision and regular reviews. You will have the support of Harper Adams University all the way through the academic course which is RICS approved and provides you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve the Degree Apprenticeship.
Things to consider
Whilst not essentialimmediately, a current driving licence will be essential for this role in the short term.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What your role would involve:
- Involvement in the day-to-day activities of a busy office
- Site visitsand research to assist in the preparation of valuation and planning reports
- Property sales, purchases and management
- Acting for Clients on a range of utility projects
- Negotiation of compensation claims
- Completing Countryside Stewardship applications plus assistance with other Government schemes
- Day to day involvement in landlord and tenant issues

- Employer entry requirements are as follows: 3 A levels (A-C) or equivalent

- Geography, construction or planning related qualifications or a Level 3apprenticeship in a construction or property related area. Applicants with experience willbe considered
