In your role, you will gain experience in:
  • Building surface mount boards and electronic assemblies
  • Building mechanical trunking assemblies
  • Sales: assisting with enquires from our customers on specific bespoke company products
  • Assisting our customers with technical support regarding their electrical/electronic queries
  • Providing design solutions for complex medical and custodial sites
  • Using 2D and 3D CAD software packages to design and plan our new equipment
  • Installing, maintaining, and commissioning our products at hospitals and prisons throughout the UK

Desired qualifications

  • Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or above or equivalent
  • A Level in maths, science, chemistry, biology or computer science. Level 3 electrical or engineering based qualifications.

Things to consider

  • This is a level 4 apprenticeship opportunity, and you will gain academic qualifications via day release at the Black Country and Marches Institute of Technology with Dudley College, (DY1 4AL), working towards the HNC Engineering as part of the Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Standard
