Main Purpose of the Job:

The role will be supporting the analysis of new technology within PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents, as well as the production of new software using thesetechnologies. While also ensuring that existing products are kept up to date with the latest Microsoft changes.Developingfeatures and productsusing your knowledge of C# and JavaScriptforsolution development.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

TheApprentice PlatformDeveloper is responsible for the following core activities:
  • Maintaining technical tasks for any DevOps items assigned
  • Analysis of technical issues relating to existing products
  • Assisting in planning for architectural changes to theproductsuite
  • Completing assignedlow-code/code work generated through theteam
  • Assisting Functional Consultants in developing soft programming knowledge
  • Assisting analysis new problems presented to the team from Sales/Pre-Sales events

TheApprentice PlatformDeveloper has a responsibility to manage the expectations of the following internal stakeholders:
  • Platform DevelopmentTeam Leader
  • Solutions Consultants and Development Teams
  • ProductTeam
  • Customer Success Team
  • Service Desk

Desired qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • 7 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 or A*-C including maths and English

Desirable qualifications:
  • 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grades A*-C in any subject but preferably one in a numerical or computing subject (e.g. maths, Science, Computer Science etc.)
  • Applications will also be considered from graduates with non-computer science degrees looking for an apprenticeship route to a development career
