We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated Apprentice Administrator for our 0-19 Business Support team in Portsmouth. This is on a fixed-term 15-month contract, during which time you will be required to attend classes at Chichester college either in person or online, to obtain a Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship.

The hours are 37.5 per week including college attendance, worked Monday - Friday between 08.30-17.00. The role is based at Civic Offices, Portsmouth, although the ability to travel to other sites if necessary is desirable. Free parking is currently available.

The successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills together with IT skills. The ability to work to tight deadlines and with close attention to detail is also an essential requirement of this post. You will need to be a resourceful and organised and capable of delivering high quality administrative support.

You will have a caring and courteous manner and enjoy working with and meeting people. You will also need to be able to work unsupervised and display initiative, whilst working autonomously or as part of a team. You will be working within the 0-19 service, in liaison with clinicians, outside agencies and families. Duties may include referrals, reports, uploading onto the clinical system, SystmOne, as well as other administrative tasks such as filing, answering the phone and photocopying.
