What will the apprentice be doing?
Alongside the degree programme, you will work through a structured programme gaining a breadth of knowledge and skills in food safety, legality, integrity and quality which will prepare you to kick start your career in Moy Park as a site based Quality Assurance Auditor.

Working with industry approved training partners we will support you in your career by giving you the opportunity to practice what you learn in the classroom, back in your workplace and gain invaluable support from a highly skilled Food Safety & Quality team.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On completion of your programme you will draw on the skills, knowledge & behaviours you have learnt during your apprenticeship programme to become a valued member of a Moy Park Technical team and take on a role such as a Food Safety and Quality Manager. You will also have access to our fantastic internal development programmes & learning resources which could lead you to anywhere you aspire to reach!

Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent Maths, English (Grade C/4) Essential
A Level or equivalent Science (Grade B,B,C Including Science) Desired
BTEC or equivalent DMM - Including relevant science modules (Grade pass) Essential

- Auditing of the factory environment to ensure food safety, integrity, legality and quality at all times.
- Gain understanding of the Quality Management System
- Preparing for and being involved in Customer visits/ audits
- Participation in operational problem solving and project work
- Contribute to the Technical department and make a difference by developing skills in line with the Moy Park Technical Competency Framework
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

- Training will be completed at Nottingham Trent University, Brackenhurst Campus on a block release basis across 3-4 years of study working towards a BSc (Hons) Food Science & Technology
