What will the apprentice be doing?
  • To process, manage and analyse funding data with particular emphasis on apprenticeship data; to coordinate and monitor data matches between B&FC data and the digital Apprenticeship Service; to identify improvements to data flows in order to
    improve data accuracy.
  • To develop effective business intelligence and dashboards which support apprenTo monitor business intelligence and to report on trends and risks identified by this analysisticeship management at B&FC.
  • To effectively write procedures for data management processes such as enrolment, withdrawals and completions in order to ensure accurate apprenticeship data throughout.
  • To seek out barriers to effective data analysis and to design improvements to
    address them. This might include reviewing the efficiency of systems, the accuracy of datasets or the content of training packages.
  • To accurately monitor and update published apprenticeship course information.
  • To run, review and resolve DSATs, FRMs and other validation reports to ensure data accuracy.
  • To effectively collate data to support external audits and reviews.
  • To review and streamline processes for employer incentive payments and collection of support data.
  • To provide cover for other MIF officers as needed, work flexibly and sometimes
    out of normal working hours e.g., at enrolment or during major upgrades.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • The successful post holder has the opportunity to gain a fully-funded level 4 qualification in Data Analytics; an area of high demand in the UK workforce, whilst gaining invaluable workplace experience amongst leading professionals in this space.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full-time, permanent employment may be available on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Please note that this post is a fixed term 2 year contract.
