Job Description:

Your role will be responsible for the production of timely, accurate and relevant management accounts for select cost centres and to support the production of financial statements whilst ensuring tight internal controls are in place. You will own the management accounts for select cost centres, which will include production of P&Ls, balance sheets, and variance analysis and assist with producing the budget.

 

 

  • Production and review of the Monthly Management Accounts
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • To analyse the financials to support the Tax manager
  • To produce monthly commentary on each relevant cost centre analysing performance against key KPIs
  • Support with the production of year end statutory accounts and work with the auditors during their fieldwork
  • To assist in production of annual overhead budget from the bottom up
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and investigative tasks
  • Carrying out of such ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager

 

Training Provided:

As an Accounting Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Professional Accountancy Taxation Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the ACCA certificate level professional qualification.

The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.

Potential variations: AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ATT, CFAB, ICAEW, ICAS

Qualification Requirements:

Maths GCSE (grade B or above) or A level Maths

AAT level 3 required
