Vital Parts are currently looking for an enthusiastic candidate, ready to learn and develop skills in Customer Service. Duties including dealing inbound enquiries via telephone, email and live chat regarding products and services. This role will require attention to deal, excellent organisation skills, the ability to multitasks and will include taking payments over the telephone. You will have the ability to work independently within a team with consistent support and guidance.

For this role, you'll be dealing with a range of inbound and outbound calls, email enquiries and internal projects. If you are a fast learner and quick problem solver with the ability to think outside the box, you will create a bright future within our company supported by Senior Management. You must be able to adapt to change and organise your day, prioritising workload to get the job done. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for answering customer enquiries via incoming calls and emails, resolving in a first-time response, where possible and where not, ensuring follow up is maintained
  • Develop sufficient product and service knowledge to assist customers with orders and general queries.
  • Establish long lasting relationships and trust with customers by identify and assessing their needs to delivery excellent customer service.
  • Processing customer returns, refunds, and credit notes
  • Review stock levels and offer customers adequate alternatives
  • Dealing with customer queries via live chat and selling platforms e.g. Amazon & eBay
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
  • Work consistently with the growing Sales department daily
  • Additional duties may vary depending on workload and management requests

Future Prospects:

  • Possible permanent position within the company as Customer Service Adviser if suitable for the role and meeting expectations.
  • Exposure to procurement processes and sales activities
  • Progression depending on skill set and ability

Training Provided:

As a Business Administration Apprentice with BPP, you will undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures and workplace support.

Qualifications Required:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications

Skills Required:

  • Competent on Word, Excel and using computer systems
  • Ability to speak to people over the phone, professionally and calmly
  • Ability to multitask and remain organised

Personal Qualities:

  • Punctual
  • Attention to detail
  • Outgoing and willing to get involved
  • Trustworthy and susceptible to feedback and training.
