Job Title: Graduate - Manufacturing Engineering Admin

Pay Rate: Competitive

Job Description:

Reporting to - Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead and Digital Technology Team.

Responsible for converting existing Process Plans from the current MES system/paper-based layouts to a new MES system, this will be done under the guidance of Manufacturing Engineers within the business. This is to support the implementation of the latest MES system as well as any other activities as deemed required by the ME Team leader to support the project.

Responsibilities shall be done in accordance with Company Procedures and Standard Work instructions.

Work with MEs to define current processes for authoring and executing tasks.

Authoring Process Plans in Solumina.

Including, input data collects, buy offs and any other information deemed necessary.

Complete and administer IT requests.

Arrange meetings with ME's as and when required.

Work with various departments and MEs to obtain sign off on the plans created in Solumina.

If applicable, create, control and issue low level work instruction changes.

Experience/ Skills:

Essential -

Experience in using a MES system to create an author process plans for use in production.
Proven mechanical engineering experience ideally within an electro/mechanical discipline.
Good knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes.
Mid to high level experience in Office tools eg, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally, at all levels.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
Work to defined timescales.
Convert paper formats into workable Digital Formats.
HNC, HND or Degree in appropriate discipline.

Desirable -

Aerospace industry experience, especially with mechanical/electro-mechanical components.
Experience using Solumina for the MES system.
Ability to learn and work with all engineering disciplines.
Ability to project manage tasks to completion, Specific system/job training will be provided.
