We are looking for an organised and reliable individual with excellent customer care skills to join our locality based Community Independence Service as an apprentice completing a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.

The Community Independence Service provides locality based multi-professional rehabilitation, reablement and social care assessment and intervention for people over the age of 18 who primarily have a physical impairment. We work with people within their own homes and care settings who need help to stay independent.

You will be working as part of an admin team supporting a busy health and social care team who work with adults and older people living at home who have a range of needs.

We need you to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will need to be well organised, flexible and adaptable.

Regular support, supervision and training will be given. An interest in supporting the work of the clinical team who visit adults and older people in their own homes is essential. The post is based at Bitterne Health Centre in the east of Southampton.
