What will the apprentice be doing?
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Apprentices will undertake the level 5 operations/departmental manager apprenticeship programme. Upon successful completion the apprentice will achieve an ILM level 5 diploma in Leadership and management.
Apprentices will have an opportunity to continue to a higher degree apprenticeship Level 6 in Business upon successful completion of their level 5.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Successful Apprentice will secure a permanent position after 2 years

- Understand the samples of wire harness in the form of understanding drawings, late changes, re-works, containment and deblock
- Understand and support Key Quality/LPS systems and processes of IMS and QMS
- Root Cause Analysis and 8D reports
- Track side support
- Handling customer complaints
- Feedback processes to the plants
- Harness fit
- Containment Actions
- APQP Team responsibilities and processes
- Review harness and component approval processes and CIP software
