Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Apprenticeship Framework:

 

  • Comply with all requests from the Apprenticeship provider including completing all assignments/assessments as required and ensuring availability for all scheduled learning sessions as required;
  • Create and update a learning record of your journey through the Apprenticeship.

 

 

General HR:

 

  • Provide and promote HR service excellence and foster effective teamwork and business relationships;
  • To communicate sensitively with a wide range of people, including colleagues and external contacts;
  • To maintain information in a confidential manner, following data protection regulations and ensuring the HR operational team and personnel files and recruitment records are
  • GDPR compliant.
  • Manage personnel files and document administration to support the HR assistant in the maintenance of employee files, onboarding and off-boarding of employees;
  • Data inputting of employment details and documents onto HR database;
  • Support the archiving or deletion of personnel records in accordance with GDPR;
  • Assist in probation tracking ensuring probation meetings are taking place and documents are uploaded on to HR system;
  • Manage induction scheduling for new joiners and liaise with Front of House, IT and other relevant staff regarding starters/leavers
  • Schedule exit interview for leavers;
  • Support with the drafting of ad-hoc HR documents including employment confirmation letters, references etc.;
  • Support in the completion of pre-employment checks including background checks;
  • To assist or cover the management of the HR/L&D/Recruitment inbox if HR colleague absent.

 

 

Recruitment:

 

  • Support the HR & Recruitment advisor in booking and marking candidate tests, arranging interviews and managing candite queries;
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of documents for assessment centre days;
  • Assist in Graduate/ Trainee Accountant recruitment programme.

 

 

Learning and Development:

 

  • Assist the HR & L&D Advisor in the scheduling of training and coordination of training documentation;
  • Help with the set-up of in-person training session in the office;
  • Send out Teams invites to staff that sign up for training;
  • Support the HR & L&D Advisor in filing and chasing of completed study booking forms, study agreements and study plans;
  • Assist in Graduate/Trainee induction programmes;
  • Add new starters to the Learning Management System.

 

 

Ad-hoc-support of the operations team potentially including reception and post room duties if required.

 

Apprenticeship Qualification: CIPD Level 3 Apprenticeship

Study Provider: BPP

 

Training Provided:

As a HR Support Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the HR Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, which is aligned with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Upon completion you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Certificate and you will be able to apply for Membership of CIPD.

 

The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.

Qualification Requirements:

Minimum entry requirements for this apprenticeship are three 'A' levels at least “C” average, or an occupationally suitable Level 3 apprenticeship.

Future Prospects:

Potential to become HR Administrator in the future subject to role being available within the department
