Northern Health Care provides mental health recovery services across many regions within the UK. Our services consist of support living and community outreach services which provides our residents and service users with access to 24-hour support from experienced clinical and support staff. We are seeking someone who would like to learn business administration whilst working as an Apprentice Assistant Administrator to work in our Quality and Compliance Department. Whilst learning Business Administration Level 3 in the apprenticeship programme for the next 12 - 24 months, you will also receive a valuable opportunity to work and learn first-hand about meeting best practice, statutory quality and compliance in training, governance and quality assurance and standardization of service.

Main duties of the job

Your main focus will be to provide administrative support primarily to Quality and Compliance Department and to the wider business, whilst studying for Business Administration Level 3 in the apprenticeship programme.

Working Hours

The role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week 20% of which will be dedicated to your studies.

Job responsibilities

Your main focus will be to provide administrative support primarily to the Service Manager and to the wider business. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Manage the companys Learning Management system
  • Arrange and coordinate all aspects of training arrangements with trainers and training providers
  • Produce training data and reports for meetings
  • Liaise with trainers and delegates for all training
  • Provide administrative support and data collection for incident management, quality and compliance audits and clinical governance
  • Manage the complaints and safeguarding data and inbox system
  • Provide administrative support with the companys Care and Quality Commission portal

Person Specification

Qualifications Skills, Attributes and Knowledge

Essential

  • oGCSE or equivalent Grade Level 4/C or above in Maths and English
  • oWilling to work towards and successfully complete NVQ Business Administration Level 3
  • oCompetent use of Microsoft Office Suite of programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new technology and software
  • oInter-personal, written and verbal communication skills
  • oExcellent customer service skills


Desirable

  • oEvidence of working within a customer-centred/office environment
  • oFamiliar with CQC regulations and processes
