What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be working with different members of the company at all levels, your typical day-to-day activities include:
- The production of 3D Revit Models and 2D CAD drawings.
- Organising and implementing the issue of Civil and Structural Engineering
drawings / information
- Document management
- Supporting the administration of projects
- Ensuring outputs meet the required company and industry standards
- Meeting agreed deadlines
- Working as a member of a team
- Contributing to providing solutions and problem solving
- Working primarily in an office environment
- Working towards their professional qualifications that are recognised by
ICE/IStructE
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You'll study theory and practice relating to the many diverse areas of civil engineering. You'll have an active role in a blend of lectures combined with laboratory, workshop and computer-based sessions.

The candidate will become integral to our practice with the possibility of eventually becoming a senior project engineer within the company.
This degree apprenticeship offers a direct, fully funded pathway to a professional qualification, combining undergraduate education with on-the-job training and contribution to real-life projects.
Apprentice engineers will graduate from this scheme with both the theoretical knowledge and practical industry experience necessary to become brilliant engineers.
Upon successful completion of the degree and end-point assessment, you will meet the requirements needed to reach Incorporated Engineer status with the Institute of Civil Engineers.
After the apprenticeship, we expect you to continue to grow your career with us and eventually, work towards becoming a Chartered Engineer
