- To support the maintenance of the Group's digital communication platforms and systems, such as the; group website, intranet and social media platforms
- To help develop and maintain web-based platforms and systems using a variety of coding languages, such as HTML, CSS and PHP
- To help review the corporate software and to work with the Director of Digital Communications in proposing any system changes
- Diagnose, understand and resolve user issues using various solutions and tools
- To help support the creation of and updating of user guides and training sessions
- To help support the research and development of new systems, tools and technologies that improve the digital communication experience of staff and students
- Willingness to develop knowledge in other scripting, systems and code such as SQL, Sharepoint and ASP.NET, as well as the software that supports wider digital communications
- To support in user testing and reporting qualitative or quantitative data and system metrics
- To undertake and successfully achieve a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals
- To undertake any training considered to be relevant to the post

- To keep up to date with the skills required to fulfil the role
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with grade as may be reasonably requested

- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS languages and an understanding of the other coding languages, such as PHP and Javascript
- Knowledge of Photoshop and other Adobe design and multimedia software
- Awareness of wider coding languages, such as SQL and ASP.NET
- Maintain and behave in a professional and productive capacity, often independently
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations
- Ability to think creatively to resolve issues or consider developments
