What will the apprentice be doing?

Support key activities across the project focussed on delivering effective engagement activity with the local community to raise their awareness of work taking place, including:
  • Assisting in managing all community liaison activity agreed with the client and other key stakeholders
  • Support in managing online and face-to-face communication with the local community
  • Assist with preparation and issuing of written and visual communications including e/bulletins newsletters and presentation material to update on progress and issues with the Euston Station project
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of a wide range of community engagement meetings and events.

Support on the delivery of the internal communications strategy, including:
  • Sourcing news stories from across the project through discussion with colleagues
  • Developing written and visual materials, such as newsletters and presentations
  • Helping to maintain communications processes and databases to ensure efficient delivery of the strategy.

The Marketing & Communications Assistant apprenticeship working towards the Public Relations and Communications Assistant L4 which consists of work-based experience and training.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be eligible for membership of the Public Relations & Communications Association (PRCA). This alongside our bespoke training programme will help set you up for a successful future with Mace.
