Sport Coaching Apprenticeship- Coach Core London

Coach Core Background

Since our launch in 2012, Coach Core has worked with over 150 of the biggest sports providers, youth clubs and charities in the country, supporting over 500 young people. As a result of our ongoing expansion, we are now looking to launch a brand-new programme in Bristol!

As with any sports coaching role, there will be some evening and weekend work! You will be provided with a 30 hour a week contract, which will include time for planning, delivery and observation, as well as off the job learning hours with the other apprentices in the cohort (around 6-8 hours per week).

If you enjoy working with children and young people- and are passionate about active play- we want to hear from you! No prior gymnastics or coaching experience or qualifications are required, but a willingness to learn, develop and challenge yourself is essential.

We particularly welcome applicants from female, black, minority, ethnic (BME) communities, disabled people and homosexual, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities, as they are currently underrepresented within our workforce.

About Coach Core

Coach Core London is one of 18 programmes across the UK. In each Coach Core location, employers and other partners work together to provide an exciting range of events and opportunities for all young people.

Successful apprentices will be based full time with one employer (for between 15-18 months) but will also be able to access additional qualifications and events with the other employers. The following organisations are currently confirmed for the Coach Core London programme:
