This programme will arm you with all the skills and knowledge you need to progress into an Install or Service Engineer role, specialising in either Fire or Security Systems!

While on this apprenticeship, you will work towards a Level 6 (NFQ) Electronic Security Systems Craft Apprenticeship. We will release you from work for College placements as required by your apprenticeship programme. These are currently one block of 22 continuous weeks followed by two further blocks of 11 weeks at a SOLAS approved College. These sessions may be based away from home, which would include overnight stays. Where this is the case, you will be entitled to claim the relevant SOLAS allowances for approved accommodation.

Representing Chubb as a business, you will need to present yourself in a clean, efficient manner to maintain our excellent reputation. • Ensure all work follows the relevant environmental, health and safety standards
  • Interpret system specifications and drawings
  • Produce system documentation to confirm operational status and compliance with regulatory bodies

The type of person we’re looking for...

As you may be working with customers regularly, it’s important that their needs are at the forefront of your mind and everything you do, as well as being able to communicate efficiently. Applicants must be over 18 years old to successfully apply to this role, as well as pass the Ishihara 24 Plate Colour Vision assessment. A full driving licence is also desirable as you may be required to travel regularly. We will cover the Student Fees for your college-based tuition to ensure you face no costs for building a successful career.

From the very first day of joining us, you’ll be on a starting salary of €17,137. This will progress annually over the 4-year programme to a final year salary of €39,161.
