You’ll learn the key skills, knowledge and behaviours required to complete a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship and gain invaluable customer service experience. These transferrable skills will set you up for the future and provide a foundation to build on whilst we support your career development.

Is our Customer Service Apprenticeship for you?

We’ve got a few types of roles supporting our Customer Services Practitioner Apprenticeship programme, and we can discuss options and preferences at interview. You can either work in a fast-paced environment, taking customer calls and doing your best to help the person on the other end of the line. You’ll be assisting Commercial customers with their queries on their online banking platform or helping them with their day-to-day banking. It's all about fulfilling requests over the phone, answering questions and helping to resolve problems.

Alternatively, you could join a back-office team, working closely with other supporting departments, handling different Commercial customer activities. This could be from initial query to completion, supporting our customer-facing colleagues in providing outstanding customer service. You’ll review customer requests and update accounts / systems, following procedures to ensure correct actions have been taken in line with the bank’s compliance rules.

What we’ll look for in you:

  • Good organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills A continuous improvement mentality – identifying and suggesting improvements to new and existing processes A genuine team player – working together with colleagues to ensure you balance priorities and deliver on your promises

What you need to apply

National 5 Qualifications in Maths and English at Grade C (or equivalent) or above (these can include predicted grades). If you haven't achieved the required qualifications we'll help you to take a Functional Skills test in these areas to bring you up to this level.

Locations

You'll undertake an online test and assessment as part of the selection process. If you need any reasonable adjustments made to our recruitment process just let us know.
