An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Nutritionist to join our fantastic food operations team within Impact Food Group.
This position is homebased with travel to our sites and our Head office (based in Woking) with this in mind a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous
We are offering a salary of GBP25,000-GBP27,000 depending on experience.
The role is initially a fixed term contract starting September/ October 2022 until July 2023 (some flexibility needed with these dates)
What the Role of Graduate Nutritionist Involves:
As our Graduate Nutritionist you will be reporting into the company Nutritionist, supporting with the management of menu compliance to government legislation and supporting the special diet process. Engaging closely with schools, parents, and pupils to educate them around healthy eating and the benefits of school meals. Working in partnership with the food team you will be responsible for encouraging and monitoring the delivery of nutrition education added value initiatives. You will also spend time in schools educating pupils on the importance of health and wellbeing. You will work closely with sites and the Food Team to ensure our menu system (saffron) is updated & maintained with all nutritional information. This role provides pivotal support to the business, assisting site managers across our 3 brands- Cucina, Innovate and IFG Independent. You will work within 3 core teams, Health & Safety (medical diets/allergens), Food Development (menu development, SFS compliance) and Operations (Added Value, Procurement, Site visits/audits).
What we are looking for...
BSc degree in Nutrition or equivalent (accredited with the AfN preferred)
Excellent knowledge of nutrition and experience working with public health
Confident in communicating with key internal and external stakeholders
Must have the ability to work strategically and ensure decisions made will benefit the IFG business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as numeric and analytical skills
Demonstrates IFG values and recognition principles
Ability to quickly gain credibility with key stakeholder groups
Professional, organised, presentable, efficient and self-motivated
Willing to travel around the country and be away from home at times
A passion for keeping up to date with research and national health events
Excellent presentation and IT skills
Ability to manage a busy diary independently

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm (some flexibility needed)
