What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
BEng in Control Technical Support Engineer
This will be completed with Aston University.
Training will be a hybrid model of attendance at University, and online learning.
You will be given full training by experienced engineers at Alstom. Training will include as aspects of rail signalling data and design.

Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent 5 Subjects including Maths, English & Science (Grade 5 to 9) Essential
A Level or equivalent 3 subjects including a Maths based subject (Grade C to A) Essential
- Introduction to Railway Signalling -Basic Signalling Technology or equivalent training
- Understanding of Alstom Rail Systems Architectures, Sub-Systems Architecture (inclusive of Smartlock Interlocking System Architecture) through to interfaces to the Wayside Infrastructure.
- Railway Signalling Principles - Intermediate Signalling Technology (IST) or equivalent training.
- Interlocking Data Design
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
