Job Details
Duties
You will prepare mortgage applications, update daily department reports and data check
mortgage applications.
You will also be working as part of a diverse team, answering incoming telephone calls
and assisting our customers and other professional third parties to support their
individual needs.
The Society has a personal and customer-focused approach, you'll be working closely
with other teams to provide help, support and guidance where needed.
Don't worry - you will be provided with full training for this role to help you feel confident
within your day-to-day activities!
Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
Providing a professional approach and maintaining high standards when dealing with all
customers.
Supporting meeting targets that support the department and vision of the Society.
Supporting existing and new work practices within your day-to-day work activities
Identifying when things don't look right and need changing to your Team Leader.

We are looking for someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisation skills and attention to detail are a must too!
Qualifications
A minimum of Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above (or equivalent) as well as
confidence in using Word and Excel are essential.

Who can apply?

ALS eligibility
Please note that ALS our training providers have their own eligibility in order to provide the funding required to undertake an apprenticeship. You may not be eligible to apply if:
- you already hold a qualification at Level 3 or above in ICT, Software, Web and Telecoms or a similar subject
- you already hold a qualification at Level 3 or above in Business Administration, Customer Service or a similar subject
What are the benefits?
How much will I be paid?
You will earn £19,240 a year while training. When you pass your apprenticeship you can apply for a permanent job at the Welsh Government. Within 2 years of starting your apprenticeship you could be earning £22,500.
You will get 31 days holidays as well as 10 public and privilege days. We offer flexible working arrangements to help you get the right work/life balance. You will also be eligible for membership of the Civil Service Pension Scheme
