Additional information

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and committed to develop cooking skills within a busy kitchen and an understanding of all the hygiene and cleanliness regulations that make for a successful restaurant.

As dishes at The Angel are prepared in house, the candidate will get the opportunity to gain the skills of cooking starters, mains, desserts and sides from scratch along with learning how these dishes are to be served. There will also be the opportunity to have input in the menus and devise their own signature dishes.

The successful candidate must be reliable and eager to learn new skills and committed to do so.

As the kitchen is often a very busy environment, the successful candidate must be resilient and able to work well under pressure and be happy to work some evenings and weekends with some early morning starts.

A passion for food is desirable but no prior experience is needed as the successful candidate will work closely with our existing kitchen team.
