Graduate Teaching Assistant - Bedford

Do you have childcare experience and feel you have the right skills that can be transferred to support pupils in a local School?
If so, In Reach can help! We re currently working with a number of fantastic Primary Schools based in Bedford that are seeking enthusiastic graduates who can make a positive impact on pupils as teaching assistant and potentially progress onto teacher training through the school.
To be considered for this role, you must have a min of 3 months experience working/volunteering with primary aged children in the last 2 years and meet the criteria below:
Min 3 months experience supporting primary aged children
Knowledge and experience working with special education needs
Enthusiastic, pro-active, and strong communication skills
Ideally looking to progress onto teacher training (optional)
Confident to join a class straight away and start supporting pupils with additional needs
Willingness to learn and take on instructions from others
Available on a full-time basis and can start straight away
DBS on the update service or willing to complete asap
Live locally to Bedford or in a commutable distance
Can commit from September for the full academic year and potentially go permanent/onto teacher training if desired
If you have a passion for music, sports, arts, and other extra curriculum activities. This will be highly desirable, and you will be given the opportunity to deliver a lunch-time or after-school club. You will be allocated a year group in KS1 or KS2 and gain valuable experience that will enhance your CV if you wish to pursue a career within the education sector.
