What will the apprentice be doing?
Teaching sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study and also deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods. Improving child development and fitness through high delivery standards. What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The programme will consist of online training, webinars, practical workshops and workplace visits from a tutor.
The qualifications you will achieve will be a level 2 coaching qualification if required and a Level 4 sports coach apprenticeship standard.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time position, further training and progression available.
