GCSE or equivalent maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent) Essential
Things to consider
You must have 3 A Levels grade A - C or 80 UCAS points. It's recommended that the candidate has one A Level in a science based subject. There may be requirements to work outside of normal working hours.
Daily duties:
- Complaint investigations.
- Inspections.
- Sampling.
- Provision of customer and business advice.
- Use of database systems.
- Service requests.
- Supporting senior officers in their work.
- Liasion with internal teams and external bodies including government organisations.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 6 (BsC Hons) Environmental Practitioner Degree.
- Day release at University Centre Weston.
- Off the job training.
- Work based learning assessment.
- Block release in year 1.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
